The following sites are your photojournalism entries for each week. You will be given a student (Company) site each week to analyze their work and determine the "story" that is being conveyed. Each Monday, you are required to bring your analysis - we will randomly chose and see how close you were to the Photojournalist's intent....

Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.
Marc Riboud

You are entering a world of expression...using images.
Journalism is written messages from the talents of an author, using language, syllogisms, metaphors and/or dialogue.
PHOTO-Jourmalism is the same thing...but using imagery to tell the story.

You will learn techniques and tools to help you share your thoughts and vision using only a camera, your perspective, and your ability...

The assignment list with instructions and rubrics can be obtained here.

Student sites showing their work will be linked here. You will create your own site (using Blogger, Wordpress, Weebly, Wix, or your own website, if you prefer) where your will hallmark your work each week.

Using GIMP (or Photoshop, if you have it), your first assignment will be to create a MASTHEAD/LOGO for your PhotoJournalism Company.
  • BLOGGER - 960 pixels (width)
  • WORDPRESS - 192 x 740 pixels
  • WIX - 940 x 300 pixels
  • WEEBLY - 2000 x 1000 pixels
You may also chose to use Google Sites, if you wish...
[experiment to make sure your size matches the look/feel of your site]
